Complete Graphic organizer for a specific thing that you would like to write a poem about. It can be ANYTHING!
Then we will read CONCRETE POEM DIRECTIONS TOGETHER.
Use your graphic organizer to begin a poem about your item. Use imagery, using all five senses to describe your item. Your poem can be as simple as 6 lines, one for each bubble on graphic organizer, or you can develop the poem to any extent that you wish.
You will then draw the shape of your item and rewrite your poem into the shape.
