Wednesday, March 30, Sound of Thunder

Objective; Students will identify cause and effect in short story and learn new vocabulary.  Students will also demonstrate comprehension of the story.

DO NOW 
Second set of five vocabulary words.  Definitions in notebooks and sentences to be turned in.

1.  Read 227-230 - soft holt reader.  identify cause / effect.  Don't forget to recognize "trigger" words while reading (if, then , because, since, thus, etc)

2. Do practice vocabulary on page 239 soft holt reader.

3. Finish viewing Big Fish.
