CrQ - How much do you know about gang wars? Do you know someone in a gang? Do you know anyone that has lost his/her life due to a gang war.
LAPTOP RESEARCH PROJECT DUE END OF CLASS (work in pairs)
1. Use google to find a gang war in the USA that you would like to research. It could be the Bloods, Crips, Mafia, Aryan, etc. (WILKEPEDIA IS NOT A SOURCE).
2. Answer the following questions (to be collected by end of class).
1. What is the history behind the names of the gangs?
2. What year were the gangs formed?
3. Why and whom are they fighting?
4. Where do they live?
5. How does one become a member of that gang?
6. Find a personal account (story or interview) from a member and summerize it.
