THURSDAY, May 26, ACT 4

Objective: Students will demonstrate understanding of cause and effect in Romeo & Juliet and connect character traits to behavior.

For 1 /2periods, handout essay topics.

DO NOW

Compare Romeo and Juliet. Describe how they behave when they don't get what they want (i.e when romeo hears he is banished, when Juliet is told she must marry Paris). Are their reactions mature? What do they say and do? How might they have handled the situations better?
