Lady or the Tiger/ and The Lottery both suggest that without society, human nature is generally evil. Describe how and why the king, his daughter and all that live in the kingdom are semi-barbaric. Then describe how the whole town in The Lottery are barbaric. We know they are barbaric but they do not (irony). Finally, explain how each justifies their actions as PERFECTLY FAIR.
